About the Session
Every Thursday from 6:15-7pm! In collaboration with the Gold Coast Active & Healthy Program, join Courtney from Heart Resonance for a weekly Meditation & Sound Healing class. Unwind and recharge at this 45min session, where we will incorporate meditation, mindfulness practices and sound healing to help you reduce stress, develop resilience, and improve your overall mental and physical health. We will begin with meditation and mindfulness practices that can be integrated into our daily lives, then enjoy a restorative sound bath with the relaxing sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums and more. The vibrational frequencies encourage the body to switch to its parasympathetic nervous system, or ‘Rest and Digest’ mode, giving the body permission to relax, restore and heal. Meditation and sound healing practices have been scientifically shown to help reduce stress and anxiety, improve emotional regulation, enhance sleep quality and boost our mental clarity. These practices can also positively impact physical health, promoting a balanced lifestyle and improving our overall wellbeing. Connect with your local community each week and leave feeling grounded, refreshed and inspired. This class is designed for all levels and ages - everyone is welcome and no experience required. Class is held from 6:15-7:00pm on Thursdays. Located at the Fradgley Hall Community Centre in Burleigh Heads. Please bring $5 cash if you wish to pay on the evening. Please also bring a yoga mat, water bottle and anything else that will make you comfortable (a pillow is recommended). PLEASE NOTE: LOCATION HAS BEEN UPDATED!
